WATCH: Cape Town thief squeezes through metal fence to break into vehicle

CCTV video footage has emerged of a thief easily squeezing through the bars of a metal fence and into an apartment complex in Cape Town early on Wednesday morning.

Off camera, the thief breaks into a parked vehicle, stealing an acoustic guitar, a pair of sneakers and a basketball.

Speaking to News24, the victim Tinashe Muhove said he suspects that he will discover more items missing following the theft.

"The bars are flexible enough for a skinny guy to squeeze through. This is not the first such incident at the block. There have been four or five other incidents in the past few months," Muhove told News24.

The victim has not yet reported the incident to police. Watch the video above.
